Rapper Wale welcomes baby girl, cancels One Africa Fest performance

The D.C. rapper just became a father for the first time. His girlfriend, Chloe Alexis, gave birth to a baby girl on Friday afternoon in New York City.

Wale was scheduled to perform at the One Africa Music Fest at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center tonight, but had to cancel. He is currently at the hospital with his daughter.

‘Overjoyed. I keep the most important things in my life so far away from people because I’m sensitive. Quite possibly too sensitive to even be in this business nevertheless I spoke on the downward spiral that ensued after complications with my previous child… For that reason I kept this very private as I prayed every day to receive this blessing. Any One Trying To Defame Me Will Be Prosecuted – Emma Nyra Fires Back At OD Beats?

Yesterday we reported that singer, Emma Nyra was called out by producer OD Beats for stealing her song, “Work Hard” from him. If you missed that, you can read HERE, now in an instagram post, the singer seems to be firing back as she said that although she is a woman, she is not weak. She also made it known that anyone or any company trying to defame her henceforth will be prosecuted.

Corporate prostitution exposed –Gloria Ibru

JAZZ singer turned movie maker, Gloria Ibru has revealed that all is set for the première of Kajole, the debut movie from Twice As Nice, an entertainment/media platform. Gloria stated that the flick will expose prostitution in corpo­rate circles.

“It is a movie about women in the corporate world and how they manipulate people for funds. I don’t want to give away too much but it is all about corporate prostitution and the role women can play in making things happen or in making things not happen.

“It is all about girl power and how it could be used for good and bad. The message is that in as much as women have the power to do bad things, they also have the power to do good things,” Gloria added.

Twice as Nice, owned and run by the Ibru sisters has been doing stage productions but it veered into Hollywood  films last year. Currently, Twice As Nice has two mov­ies on Africa Magic.
