PLAYBOY PLAYMATE DANI MATHERS HIRES MJ LAWYER For Looming Criminal Prosecution

Dani Mathers the Playboy Playmate who took a picture of a naked woman in an L.A. gym — has hired no less than the famous lawyer who got Michael Jackson acquitted … and she has reason for worry.
Mathers hired Tom Mesereau, who not only got MJ off … he won a murder acquittal for Robert Blake.
The LAPD launched a criminal investigation after the gym where the photo was taken filed a police report. Mathers not only snapped the pic in the locker area, she shamed the woman by writing a snarky caption and posting it on social media. LAPD sources say they are on the hunt for the victim and are working closely with LA Fitness execs, combing over surveillance video and checking member swipes during the time in question to ID the victim. And, we’re told, they’re close.
Sources say the LAPD would like to present a criminal case to the L.A. City Attorney but need the cooperation of the victim.
Mathers has been banned from the health club.

Avengers Blasts Navy, Warns NUPENG, PENGASSAN, Foreigners To Quit N’Delta

Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) on Thursday described as the biggest joke of the 21 Century the claim by the Nigerian Navy that it arrested the group’s logistics supplier. The militant group stated this in a statement, adding that by calling any suspect it has arrested a member of the militant group, the Navy has lost their sense of professionalism. Spokesperson of NDA, Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, who issued the statement on Thursday, recalled that the Nigerian Military arrested students in Oporoza and called them the Niger Delta Avengers, stressing that, “any criminal caught is NDA, even their business partners (Illegal Oil bunkers) with which things went sour are NDA, Sea pirates are now NDA”. He said: “When Niger Delta Avengers carry out any major attack, they (Nigerian Military) will deny it. First was the NNPC pipeline that was blown; second the 48-inches Exxonmobil pipeline that was blown by NDA.  Mobil and the Government denied it, only for Exxonmobil to declare force majeure few days after the attack. We want the general public to know that the Qua Iboe export pipeline is down right now. “Let me give a little brief about the Qua Iboe Export terminal because this is a subsidiary of Mobil and it is the biggest export stream in Nigeria. They export one million barrels every two days. I Brig. Gen Agbinibo personally led this operation unlike the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ibas that sits in the comfort of his office to pass orders”. He warned the Nigerian Military should stop deceiving the general public and their Commander-in-Chief, adding: “They should come out with the truth in Akwa Ibom issue instead of saying that the Niger Delta Avengers did not blow up the line but system anomaly. Shame on the Nigeria Military. “From reports of our intelligent agents, the only way funds can be allocated to various departments of the Military is only when they (Nigeria Military) arrest the Niger Delta Avengers operatives. But soonest the Nigerian public and their Commander-in-Chief will know that the Military is not capable to handle the Niger Delta Avengers. “How do you explain a military officer having a house in choice areas in Nigeria and outside the country? Nigerian serving and retired top officers are the richest people in Nigeria. How do they get such wealth? Right now, they are using Niger Delta Avengers to defraud the Nigerian government and tax payers of their money. “We want to make this clear that Niger Delta Avengers operatives are intact, our intelligence agencies are all intact and our team are in high spirit because we are winning the war. Nigerian Navy can’t arrest any of our members until we bring down the economy of this country”, the statement further added. The militant group therefore warned National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) and Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) to leave all oil fields and terminals in the Niger Delta because it is going to be dirty very soon. “Foreigners are to leave too”, added the statement.

Court Awards N5m To Fayose’s Aide For Unlawful Detention

The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Thursday, admitted Abiodun Agbele, an aide to Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State to bail in the sum of N50 million and one surety in the like sum. However, the court condemned Agbele’s detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) without trial or lawful court order and awarded a fine of N5 million on the anti-graft agency in favour Agbele as compensation for his unlawful arrest and detention. Delivering judgment in the fundamental human rights enforcement suit brought by Agbele against the EFCC, Justice Olukayode Adeniyi held that the detention of Agbele since July 1, 2016 till date in Abuja was wrongful, unlawful, unconstitutional and a gross violation of the fundamental rights of the applicant. In the judgment that lasted about one hour, Justice Adeniyi agreed with counsel to the applicant, Mr. Olalekan Ojo that the detention of the applicant beyond the period stipulated under Section 35 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) was a gross violation of the rights of the applicant to freedom of liberty, dignity and right to own properties. Stating that the action of the EFCC was a brazen violation of the applicant fundamental rights, the judge decried the practice by law enforcement agencies depriving individuals of their rights under the guise of performance of their statutory functions. He said that the fine was imposed to compel the agency to learn that it must operate within the ambit of the law. The court also took swipe at the EFCC for not being honest to the Magistrate Court who ordered the remand of Agbele. “If the Magistrate Court had been informed of the pendency of this fundamental rights suit, definitely, it will not have granted the remand order, upon which the applicant was detained. “The detention of the applicant after a suit had being lodged at this court is unconstitutional and illegal as the applicant has already ran to this court to seek refuge from the violation of his rights by the respondent”, he said. He voided the remand warrant order issued by the Magistrate Court as of no effect on the applicant, having been obtained during the pendency of the instant case. Justice Adeniyi also lambasted the anti-graft agency for imposing stringent bail conditions on suspects contrary to sections 30-33 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) 2015. He wondered why EFCC that claimed it granted administrative bail to the applicant turned around in the court and vehemently objected to the plea of the applicant for a court bail in line with constitutional provisions. “What is more, the era of imposing outlandish bail conditions has gone in view of the provisions of the new laws. Bail conditions should not be more that what Sections 30-33 of the ACJA stipulated because every person is entitled to bail. “Time has come for security agents, especially the EFCC to learn how to employ the best standard practice in the discharge of their duties”. The court asked Agbele to provide a surety who must be a top rank civil servant with the Federal Government or any of its agencies with a residence in Abuja. According to the judge, in the alternative, Agbele should seek for a responsible citizen of Nigeria with property in Abuja, who has evidence of three years tax payment as his surety. Such a surety should swear to an affidavit of means. The applicant was also ordered to deposit his international passport with the EFCC and that the anti-graft agency should release all the property seized from the applicant within 21 days if he is not charged before the court.

What?? Four teenagers arrested over sale of human skull

Luck ran out of four young men said to be trading in human parts as they were, yesterday, arrested by operatives of Criminal Investigation Department, CID, of Akwa Ibom State Police Command, when the suspects went looking for a buyer of a human skull in their possession.
The suspects are Emmanuel Edet Ikot, 17,  from Edeabasi, Oron; Ubong Udong, 18; Bright Effiong Okon, 19 and Okon Ita, 20, from Orukim. The alleged leader of the group, Emmanuel Edet, denied the accusation, saying he only stumbled on a human skull while working at an uncompleted building for a man (names withheld) in Oron. The Akwa Ibom State Police Public Relations Officer, Delia Nwawe, who spoke on behalf of the Commissioner, Mr. Murtala Mani, said the suspects were arrested by officers of the CID of the command in Mbo Local Government Area on receiving an alert from vigilant youths in the area. He said with the arrests effected, the suspects would be charged to court for the law to take its course. Speaking with News men, leader of the gang, Mr. Emmanuel Edet, said: “I was paid to cut grass and clean up an uncompleted building by one man in Oron. “As I was clearing the place, I stumbled on a human skull. I then rushed to inform my friends of what I found and in the company of those my friends, we went to pick the human skull. “After picking it, we decided to sell it, but we did not know of any possible buyer. So, it was suggested by one of us that we take it to a native doctor in Mbo. The four of us went together but on our way, we were held by the youth leader of Mbo. “After the skull was found on me, he called the police to arrest us. That is why we are here. I have not sold human parts before.”
